Carrum Downs Nursing Home is a multicultural Aged Care Facility. A fully accredited home which is governed under the Aged Care Act 1997. We provide nursing care to older people who have been assessed as requiring residential accommodation and care support by an Aged Care Assessment team. Our staff consists of Qualified Registered Nurses Enrolled Nurses and Personal Carer’s 24 hours a day. We also are complimented with Hospitality Domestic Maintenance and Lifestyle staff. We also have an exercise physiologist and regular services from physiotherapists optometrists and podiatrists. We are able to access visiting hearing and dental services. We acknowledge that each person has individualised care needs and preferences and our care is planned delivered and evaluated in consultation with the resident and family. As most of our residents are elderly and live within the facility as a result of a combination of many factors. We understand the importance of a homely environment.
