Set within the close-kit community of St Andrew's Village, Alblas Lodge is a spacious facility with a warm and friendly atmosphere, yet central location being approximately 1km to the CBD. The facility is home to 60 residents, with one section dedicated to support people with dementia. Alblas Lodge is a low care facility offering ageing-in-place and respite services, and provides a spacious and inviting air conditioned home for residents with many accessible outside areas to relax in. With the assistance and support of the community, residents are encouraged to continue to participate in community life by attending concerts held in the local community hall and significant local events such as the Tamworth Music Festival and show. The facility runs a monthly café service for residents and their families to enjoy. The accommodation is spacious, with each resident having their own single bedroom. Each bedroom has an ensuite with handrails, an emergency call system, air conditioning, access to pay tv, picture rails and built-in wardrobe, all within a secure building. Alblas Lodge is part of an integrated campus which includes a nursing home, self care village and community care services, therefore allowing UnitingCare Ageing to attend to the individual needs of every resident despite their care requirements.
