Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes Cooinda Aged Peoples Home in Lithgow, NSW 2790 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.

Cooinda is a home for 47 residents, consisting of private rooms with ensuites. There are tastefully furnished lounge areas. The main lounges have sound equipment, television and video, some lounges are used as quiet areas and other areas used for entertaining visitors - these have tea and coffee making facilities and full equipped kitchens or microvwaves and toasters. There is a treatment room made available for all residents to consult with their LMO or health professional. Staff also use this room to carry out residents' individual health care treatments/requirements, in privacy.There are three dining rooms - two seat 12 residents Madden & Gillard House) and the third seats 23 (Coates House). There is a function room for social and recreational activities. Three laundries are available for personal laundry. Cooinda is centrally heated by gas and each room has individual heaters. Gillard and Madden Houses have individual wall fans.
