It can be different...

In June of 2006, a complete culture change began within our home. We started by looking at the way we ran our traditional medical aged care facility. We set off on a journey that would change life in our home forever. Our management team became a leadership team, while maintaining a close bond with our residents and their families. Much of our time is now utilised educating and empowering our front line care partners and residents to make informed decisions, to obtain the best possible outcome for their specific care needs.

Our community...

We create a closer community by promoting harmony within our home. We change the way we live and work by putting our residents at the centre of all our decisions. When we make these changes, we "deinstitutionalise" our home and build a vibrant environment. We give our residents the opportunity to make choices of their own in their daily routines. By introducing pets, children, plants and gardens into everyday life, we encourage our residents to give care. We also encourage staff and residents to care for each other, nurturing personal and intimate relationships.

We offer all the traditional nursing home services, as well as extra services. Trinity Manor accommodates residents in spacious private rooms with ensuite bathrooms and a luxurious standard of fixtures and fittings. We provide freshly cooked, nutritionally balanced meals, prepared seven days a week by our qualified Chef, a variety of indoor and outdoor communal areas and residents can choose to join in with entertainment, outings and other social activities Monday to Sunday.

Rehabilitation therapy is available to residents who stay with us either short or long term. Access to professionally trained Speech and Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists are also provided on request.

Features of Trinity Manor include among others the café, landscaped courtyard and garden with lovely barbeque area.

From a fully equipped hair and beauty salon, to regular feature movies in the theatrette, you have it all at Trinity Manor. A gymnasium is available, as are in house videos, regular entertainers and special guests. Library services are also at your disposal, including large print and talking books.

As we travel the path of our journey we strive to create an environment that contains variety, spontaneity, and companionship. These three elements are the antidotes to the three plagues: loneliness, helplessness and boredom.
