Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes Tabeel Lutheran Home in Laidley, QLD 4341 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous homes.

We are centrally located in the heart of the historical village of Laidley in a beautiful garden setting adjacent to the main shopping precinct.

We offer quality ageing in place for residents. Ageing in place provides the opportunity to stay in the same service, regardless of changing or increasing care needs. Our day therapy centre offers residents and the local community a range of services to help keep them active and healthy including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and recreational activities.

We embrace the principles of the Eden Alternative – an innovative dementia care model based on providing a home-like, comforting environment. Animals also play a part in the daily lives of residents and bring much joy. Employees are strongly focused on encouraging variety and spontaneity in the daily life of the Tabeel community.

Our volunteers are an essential part of our service and offer support, comfort and companionship to our residents. Our chaplains, where requested, are also an integral part of the care we provide.

Our sea of colourful poppies, petunias, perennials and a memorial rose garden set it apart from competitors to take home the prize as Best Business Garden 2011. This award was presented by the Lockyer Valley Regional Council as part of the Lockyer Valley 2011 Garden Competition.
