Elizabeth Lodge A practical feature of AAC Wahroonga is that the key facilities are located on the same estate. The transition from independent to assisted living is made with the minimum of disruption and happens in a familiar physical and social environment. We believe that a continuum of care brings its own dignity to ageing. Elizabeth Lodge (Wahroonga): A fully accredited residential care (ageing in place) with single rooms for 60 residents and 4 double rooms. Each room is comfortably appointed with a private balcony, bathroom and toilet facilities. There is a spacious lounge and excellent dining facilities as well as a large activities room where visiting diversional therapists organise a range of recreational and leisure activities such as carpet bowls, board games, quiz events, guest speakers, musical appreciation, crafts and excursions. Daily devotional and weekly church services are conducted in the beautiful chapel. A visiting chaplain provides pastoral care and support to all residents. ESTHER SOMERVILLE A fully accredited 27-bed facility in our Wahroonga complex providing the highest level of nursing care and personal attention for residents who require extended care. The building is fully air-conditioned with a choice of single or twin-share rooms. Each room has views of beautifully tended gardens. 30 Self-Care Apartments and 20 Villas Adventist Aged Care Wahroonga has recently constructed 30 spacious 2 & 3 bedroom apartments. Built over six levels, they include three basic floor-plans, as well as variations in levels, orientation, and outlook. They offer exceptional retirement living. Low level hostel care is available on request. Meals, room service and personal care is provided on a temporary or on-going basis. Meals can be delivered to one’s unit or there is the option of eating in the dining room at Elizabeth Lodge. A secure passage links the apartment block to the hostel and nursing home.
