Welcome to Mornington Community residential home just a few minutes from Hobart, where we offer 93 residential places, including dementia-specific care, in a non-restrictive environment with access to outdoor areas. There are also eight Independent Living Units and seven Social Housing Units located onsite, as well as a Day Respite Centre for leisure and social activities; and a Men’s Shed. Our experienced Registered Nurses and trained care staff provide round the clock care. All our residents enjoy flexible and individual attention that is tailored to their needs, whether that is a little help with everyday living, or intensive support for those with cognitive and mobility challenges.Everyone is welcome to relax in our spacious lounges or enjoy the pleasant outdoor areas in our landscaped gardens. Our Lifestyle Program provides a range of social and recreational activities; and family and friends are welcome to join us for a meal, participate in activities, or arrange a special family celebration at any time. Family participation in the planning and development of services is actively encouraged through our family forums, held each quarter; and volunteering enquiries are welcome.
