Westminster Village Aged Care Facility

Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes Westminster Village Aged Care Facility in Grange, SA 5022 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.

Westminster Village Aged Care Facility provides 64 low care beds and 46 high care beds. Two respite rooms are located on site. The facility is located close to West Lakes Shopping Centre and public transport.

Low care accommodation is provided in modern villa houses. Each villa accommodates 16 residents in single rooms with ensuite facilities. High care accommodation is provided in single and share rooms. Some are equipped with an ensuite while others are located near to bathroom facilities.

Residents are welcome to bring personal belongings such as furniture, photos and paintings but items must not impinge on staff safety or resident wellbeing. Access to a registered nurse is available at all times and activity coordinators are employed to assist residents in meeting lifestyle preferences.

A large Day Room is available for community activities and there are smaller lounge rooms available for entertaining family and friends.

The Uniting Church Chaplain conducts open Christian services on Thursday mornings. Visiting Roman Catholic ministry is available and all other faiths are encouraged to provide ministry to our residents on-site. Individual support is available on an 'as need' basis.

Entrances to the facility are fitted with a keypad lock for the security of all residents. External camera security facilities operate after business hours.

A large function room with tea and coffee making facilities is available for community activities. Smaller lounges are suitable for entertaining family and friends. A private garden area in the centre of the facility allows residents to access the outdoors.

Westminster is a smoke free facility. Smoking is only permitted in the courtyard and garden areas.

Residential Care Applications: Residential Care Applications are reviewed when a vacancy arises. The site management team will offer accommodation to the applicant deemed to be in the greatest need. Introductory tours around the facility can be booked upon request.
