For 59 years we have been situated in Laidley a historic rural village in the Lockyer Valley region of south-east Queensland. While our award winning gardens put on a great show we deliver more than colour in our care at Tabeel. Employees are strongly focussed on providing variety spontaneity and helping residents find meaning in their daily activities. Our residents enjoy the benefit of the Eden Alternative which encourages a home-like environment featuring pets plants indoor gardens and regular visits from local children. We offer quality ageing in place for residents. Ageing in place provides the opportunity to stay in the same service regardless of changing or increasing care needs. In many cases this has enabled families to stay together. Our broad range of accommodation and care options has helped us to create a vibrant diverse community within the service. We offer seven serviced apartments five low-cost rental units three respite rooms and 29 retirement village units. Our day therapy centre offers residents and the local community a range of services to help keep them active and healthy including physiotherapy occupational therapy podiatry and recreational activities.
