For more than 15 years James Barker House a Footscray aged care program has met the needs of the older person. James Barker House is run by The Salvation Army a Christian organisation specialises in meeting the needs of marginalised and homeless persons and people who are at risk of becoming homeless. We have created specialised procedures that cater for those persons whose lifestyle is adversely impacted by alcohol and tobacco usage. The house’s eight wings and four nursing stations enhance these programs upholding the dignity of the individual.
