Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes Yeoval Community Nursing Home in Yeoval, NSW 2868 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous homes.

UPA Yeoval Aged Care Service provides hostel accommodation and consists of single bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom and shared (double) bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom. Meals are served in a communal dining rooms and personal care assistance from staff is available. Twelve Community Care Packages are integrated into our service and other community services such as Meals-on-Wheels the Community Nurse and a General Practitioner for the Yeoval Community are generated from or housed within our facility. Care staff are available 24 hours a day to ensure needs are always addressed. Should an emergency arise the rooms have an emergency call system that will summon a staff member immediately. UPA Yeoval also provides respite accommodation i.e. short term care. Respite accommodation is needed in situations of unexpected illness or injury or where the carer needs to take a break from the tasks of looking after a person in their own home. Other services such as physiotherapy therapeutic exercise hairdressing pharmacy and podiatry are also available (additional fees may apply for some services). Each resident has the personal choice of Doctor and all information and medical details are kept in the strictest confidence. A wide variety of activity programs is offered. These programs could include carpet bowls bingo craft card and board games videos happy hours outings scenic drives guest speakers and special functions. Staff and residents alike enjoy a mufti day once a month where anything can and does happen. Residents are strongly encouraged to continue or to develop their community networks with such groups as Red Cross CWA senior citizens etc. Residents are asked to inform the staff if they will be absent from the facility. Contact with family and friends is extremely important for all concerned and is encouraged at all times. Phones can be connected to all rooms in the facility to assist residents and family to keep in touch. Residents are encouraged to follow their own religious beliefs. Ministry services are available from the region's Chaplains/Ministers/Priests and from Chaplains of other denominations. Church services are held in the facility weekly with community services being held monthly by the various denominations in town.
