Kanandah Hostel has fifty one single bed rooms, offering both low care and high care residential accommodation. Every effort is made to ensure newcomers are welcomed and comfortable with their new surroundings from their first day in residential care. Residents are encouraged to provide for their further comforts. Items such as a television set, personal memorabilia (within reason), favourite items of furniture (within reason) and a bar fridge are to be found in the rooms of most residents. These creature comforts and the specialised care provided to each resident ensure the transition into aged care is easy at Kanandah. The comfort of residents in winter is enhanced by under-floor heating.
