Fronditha Hippocrates Aged Care Fronditha Hippocrates Aged Care – is a newly established 66 bed Aged Care Facility in Newcastle NSW. The facility is recognised by the Department of Health and Ageing as a provider of nursing care, to Australian elders of CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) background who have a current Aged Care Assessment indicating the need for low and high care. The facility allows for Ageing-in-Place. This means that an elderly person can remain in the same facility as their care needs change to high category. Accommodation – Fronditha Hippocrates Aged Care is situated in Mayfield with easy access to a public transport system. The facility cares for 16 high care and 50 low care residents. Residents have private rooms with single ensuites. The facility has a number of communal areas including a dining room, activities room lounge room sunroom and a courtyard room.
