Samarinda Aged Services is a not for profit community based organisation offering a variety of services to the elderly within the Boroondara and Monash communities. Our services include:

Residential Care Program

Samarinda's Residential Aged Care Facility offers high quality support for clients in need of permanent or respite accommodation in a home like environment. Our ageing in place philosophy of care is made possible because of our ability to attract and retain highly skilled and specialised staff who have the clinical expertise to provide above and beyond essential care.

Community Care Program

Samarinda Aged Services provides two community adult day programs. Elsie Salter House provides an inclusive specialist low and high care needs program designed to meet the individual requirements of people with dementia, memory loss and confusion. The service provides an opportunity for people to maintain their independence to remain living at home whilst enabling carers to take a break from their busy role.

Diamond Day offers centre based support in a calm and homely environment and is ideally suited to those who's mobility or other complex nursing needs preclude them from other general day services.
