Glenview Community Services

Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes Glenview Community Services in Glenorchy, TAS 7010 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous homes.

Glenview's residential facility currently provides aged care accommodation to 97 permanent residents and two respite residents.

Glenview Home provides a complete range of nursing and personal care services and residents are able to participate in a wide selection of activities. Our new dementia support unit includes a large, safe outdoor sensory garden.

Glenview Home has a chapel with regular Anglican, Catholic and Polish church services, as well as a pastoral carer who can provide residents with spiritual support and other assistance.

We recognise that a resident's care and other needs change through the ageing process and we can accommodate these changes to enable residents to remain at Glenview for as long as they choose. If a family member wishes to stay overnight, Glenview can ensure their comfort while they stay close to the person they are caring for.

As well as permanent residential aged care, Glenview also has two respite rooms enabling a carer to take time out or for a person to have a break from living independently. Respite is also used as a way for a family or an individual to 'try out' residential care and see if it might be an option for them.
