Padman Health Care commenced aged care services in SA in 1984. The group is now the state's largest private operator of Commonwealth funded aged care facilities. The Peninsula is located at Kadina, the regional centre of the Yorke Peninsula. Built on the edge of town, the facility provides a very high standard of care to 60 permanent and respite high care clients in single or shared rooms. There are several comfortable and spacious communal areas with scenic rural outlooks and native gardens. A very stable workforce skilled in services to frail aged, dementia and palliative care are always on hand to assist. One of the many outstanding features of the service is the extent to which staff involve the residents in activities within the local community.
