Bodington is accredited by the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency. Bodington was the first residential aged care service in New South Wales to gain accreditation with merit in 2003. In the 2006 round of accreditation, Bodington was awarded a 'Better Practice Award' for an innovative shuttle bus service program. Use of the shuttle bus has given the residents a sense of independence and wellbeing enabling their involvement in choice and decision-making.
