CHESALON'S HISTORY OF GENUINE COMMITMENT

The word Chesalon means "a place of security and hope". It comes from the Old Testament. It captures the very essence of Chesalon and its Christian philosophy of care, established over 50 years ago.

ANGLICARE Aged Services are designed to help elderly people lead as rich and fulfilling lives as possible. By providing modern and efficient care for the frail aged, Chesalon assists and encourages the elderly to maintain their independence. Recreational and spiritual needs of the residents are also included.

COMMUNITY SERVICES

In some local government areas ANGLICARE provides care and services to frail or sick elderly people who remain at home but need support and assistance. These services include:

assistance and support for those with a dementing illness and those that care for them.

WHO DOES THE CARING?

The dedicated team of men and women who comprise the staff of each ANGLICARE Chesalon facility work under the guidance of professional managers. Friends and relatives are encouraged to take an active role in the ongoing care of their frail relative or friend. In addition, auxiliary members and volunteers are part of the caring team providing prayer support, raising funds and sharing their skills to enhance the quality of life of the frail elderly.
