Conveniently located on McIvor Highway and Murphy Street in Bendigo Mirridong Aged Care is a 90 place residence comprising single rooms with ensuites and shared rooms. This arrangement provides companionship and is perfect for couples that would like to live together while receiving the benefits of 24 hour care. Mirridong has a specialised memory support service to care for those diagnosed with dementia. Short stay and unfunded care are also available. In 2014 Mirridong’s newest development was opened adding brand new premium accommodation for 30 residents. Mirridong offers beautiful feature gardens paved pathways and secure verandahs allowing residents outside access yet protection from the country elements. Our beautiful garden outlook brings a feeling of warmth and comfort into the residence. With our first-class and friendly care and home-cooked meals friends and family are welcome any time – to pop in share a cup of tea or enjoy a meal with family. There are no set visiting hours. All are welcome to participate in our community and recreational activities. Our leisure and lifestyle programs can be personalised to individual needs and preferences whether it be going shopping seeing a movie or having high tea in the Botanical Gardens. Mirridong even has its own pet Rupert the dog. Rupert can be seen regularly cuddling up to our residents and enjoying quiet walks. He truly brings a sense of wellbeing and love to our home.
