Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes Weeroona Aged Care Residence in Cowra, NSW 2794 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous homes.

When care is no longer an option at home, were here to help. Weeroona was built in the 1970s and acquired by its current owners in 1993. The family operated residence now has 101 aged care beds including 35 single rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. There are 22 rooms that have extra service status. Our facility specialises in high care and low care suites and short-term temporary admissions in the form of respite care. Individual resident choices and preferences are respected and residents are consulted about changes and innovations in services they would like. In conjunction with the regular review of each residents health status and care plan, residents are offered the opportunity to re-align the services they receive to their changing lifestyle. Residents at Weeroona have the opportunity to engage in activities 7 days a week. All meals are freshly cooked and can be enjoyed in our dining rooms or residents suites. Extra service residents have meal options and the alternative of wine with their evening meal. Our private room allows families to join with their loved ones on special occasions. Homemade scones and cakes are never too far away and should be accompanied by a hot cup of tea or coffee.
