Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes SWIAA Gardens in Bossley Park, NSW 2176 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.
The village situated at Bossley Park in south west Sydney includes Marconi Villas self care cottages and SWIAA Gardens the newly completed 50 bed low care facility. In 1993 a group of volunteers realised that in the South West region of Sydney there was no facility to look after the elderly of an Italian background. They then formed a committee to realise their dream: “To build a village to provide care for the elderly with an Italian background that also caters to other nationalities”.Hence the creation of The South West Italian Australian Association (SWIAA) formed to provide social welfare cultural and cross-cultural services for Italian residents in the South West region of Sydney and other residents of Australia. In 2003 a retirement village was built to provide secure independent living to the elderly. Four years later a hostel was built with 38 low care beds and 12 dementia specific low care beds. In August 2013 SWIAA opened Parkview Aged Care Facility featuring 40 low care places and 20 high care places.Welcome to SWIAA Gardens, Bossley Park NSW
