Every room at Mortimer Aged Care is over 35 square metres in size every room is air conditioned they all have direct dial telephones and all rooms have a patio outside the front and back doors. The bed in every room is a modern electric bed with a comfortable pressure relieving mattress and the majority of our rooms have large flat screen televisions on the wall in the lounge room. You can bring in your own furniture or you can use our furniture. You can even paint the room any colour you want. Mortimer Aged Care gives you a lifestyle that meets your greatest dreams. Our meals are beautifully cooked on site in the kitchen and you can choose to have your meals in your room. You can even heat up meals in your own kitchenette or make tea and coffee for friends and visitors. There is more than enough space in your apartment for any number of visitors you may want to have and the beautiful manicured grounds mean your grandchildren can run around and play while you talk with family and friends. At Mortimer Aged Care you don't have to worry about electricity bills. We pay them and your only bills are your daily fees (which are set by the government) and any personal expenses. We have a beautiful air conditioned bus with a wheelchair hoist that goes on outings twice a week and out for drives most days. We do not charge any more to come on our outings and every outing is an adventure. Our Refundable Accommodation Deposit is set at Tier 2 and from 1 August 2013 is fully refundable. This means that if you pay a deposit on your room you get the whole amount back when you leave. Mortimer Aged Care is a fully funded fully accredited residential aged care facility. It is staffed 24 hours a day by registered nurses enrolled nurses and assistant nurses.
