Gold Coast Aged Care welcomes Yeltana Nursing Home in Whyalla, SA 5600 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.
Yeltana is a fully accreditated 48 bed high care facility including a 25 bed secure dementia wing located on the sea front in Whyalla. The initial facility was constructed in 1985.
The facility has recently undergone extensive refurbishment and features landscaped grounds with secure outdoor entertainment areas and a private dining room for social activities.
A planned activities program plays a vital role in contributing to residents' well being and quality of life. Leisure and Lifestyle staff gather information from residents which helps to relate and understand the history, background, interests and abilities of residents. They plan and regularly evaluate individual, group and site-wide leisure activities.

Yeltana Nursing Home provides individual nursing and personal care services 24 hours per day, in addition to an extensive therapy and social activities program. Regular visiting services including doctors, pharmacy, dentistry, pastoral care, hairdressing, physiotherapy, podiatry, speech pathology and Dietitian are all available to residents.

At Yeltana, as with our two hostels, we encourage residents' families, friends and relatives to visit and enjoy meals with the residents in their home. Visitors are welcome at all times.
